The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

WSA Travel Policies & Procedures

TEAM_20TRAVEL

WSA extends medical and liability insurance benefits ONLY when this policy is followed. Failure of a player, team official, or team to follow this policy will jeopardize the team’s liability and each player's secondary medical insurance coverage. In addition, WSA and/or USYS reserve the right to impose penalties on the coach and/or club.

Requirements to Travel

  1. Travel notifications and permissions will only be accepted electronically using e-Travel.

  2. The team must receive approval for travel before travel begins.

  3. Each player (including guest players), coach, and/or team:

    • must be registered and in good standing with their local association and with WSA.

    • must have a valid membership card.

    • must be on a roster approved by a WSA authorized club registrar or the tournament's approved guest player roster.

  4. Each coach and assistant coach must be in compliance with WSA’s risk management requirements.

Team Travel (e-Travel)

  1. e-Travel is submitted from a team’s GotSoccer account. Once approved a digitally signed travel document will be available in the team’s account.

  2. Choose the appropriate TRAVEL PERMISSION TYPE

    • Notification Only/Travel Within US Youth Soccer Region IV is for teams participating in a USYS/USYS state sanctioned tournaments or games outside of Wyoming but within USYS Region IV. The approved e-travel form will be available in the team account.

    • Permission to Travel is for teams traveling to a USYS/USYS state sanctioned tournament outside of USYS Region IV. The e-travel form will be required at tournament check in; print the form and keep it with the team documents.

      • South Dakota and Nebraska are in Region II

    • Notification Only/Travel to Participate in Non-USYS State Sanctioned Events, regardless of the state or region and is required for any team participating in a non-USYS state sanctioned tournament or friendly games, i.e. sanctioned by US Club Soccer.

      • Many tournaments do not allow teams to mix Federation affiliate member cards. Check the tournament rules.

Individual Guest Players

  1. Permission is needed for an individual player who travels to guest play at an out-of-state tournament or games.

  2. Players can register to guest play at events that use GotSoccer tournament software.

  3. Only if a tournament within US Youth Soccer RIV requires it, the Individual Guest Player Permission form must be completed. See the tournament's rules to determine guest player requirements.

  4. The Individual Guest Player Permission form must be completed for individual players traveling out of USYS RIV.

  5. Guest players must fulfill the Requirements to Travel #1, #2 and #3.

Travel Paper Requirements - US Youth Soccer Region IV States

The following forms are not available on GotSoccer. They are pre-approved as long as the form is done as instructed. To use one of these forms open the file, print and complete.

  • PLAYERS - Use this form for Permission to TRAVEL and to GUEST PLAY at an out-of-state tournament or game while playing with a USYS affiliated team NOT from Wyoming.

  • COACHES - Use this form 1) between coaches for approval of individual or multiple player loans for tournaments, and/or 2) for USYS sanctioned tournaments that require guest player(s) approval in ways other than thru GotSoccer. Multiple players can be on this form as long as the players have the same coach and are from the same WYS club/team.
