2012 Wyoming Cup

Casper, Wyoming - May 26 - 28, 2012

1. The administration of the Wyoming Cup is vested in the WYS Board of Directors and is the state championship tournament for Wyoming Youth Soccer.
2. The WYS Board of Directors assigns to the host club’s tournament director, as stated on the Application to Host, the responsibility of administering the Wyoming Cup.
3. Any matters not provided for in this policy shall be decided by the WYS Board of Directors; its decisions are final.
4. With the approval of the Board of Directors, the tournament director shall determine the dates for entry and the entry fee for each year’s Wyoming Cup. The WYS office will be advised of that date not later than January 1 of each year.
5. No later than the deadlines set, each affiliated club wishing to enter teams shall assure that its teams register in the manner determined by the state office.

1. Teams must be in good standing with their club and WYS, have completed the spring Wyoming League season that immediately precedes the Wyoming Cup, by playing against a minimum of three (3) different teams.
2. The maximum team roster size for U10 – U12 teams is 18; game roster is 14
3. The maximum team roster size for U13/U14 teams is 22; game roster is 18
4. Only 1 (one) game roster can used for this tournament.
5. The game roster for U10 – U12 teams shall have a maximum of 14 players and a minimum of 6 players; the game roster for U14 teams shall have a maximum of 18 players and a minimum of 7 players. Every player listed on the game roster must be on the team’s qualifying league roster.
6. Teams must be comprised of no less than 85% Wyoming resident players and at least 9 players must remain common to the first official spring Wyoming League team roster.
7. Upon approval of a WYS Player Release and Transfer for each player, a team may roster up to 5 (five) previously rostered players. Previously rosters players consist of players from other WYS affiliated club(s).
8. Previously rostered players must be on the team roster and have a correct player membership card no later than the week immediately following the second (2nd) weekend/fourth (4^th) game of the team’s spring league play.
9. No guest players are allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS
10. Credentials and Check In: Each teams’ official WYS team roster, current USYS/WYS player and coach membership cards and signed (by hand or electronically) medical release forms must be presented in the manner set forth in the tournament rules; medical release forms must be available at the field of play at all times.
11. Irregularities in player eligibility may be cause for disqualification of a player and/or a team.
12. Issues involving player age will be resolved per the procedure outlined in WYS Rules and Procedures.
13. No player may play for more than one team during the tournament
