and Events
National Championship Series
- The Wyoming
State Cup is the first event in the national series.
Player
and Volunteer Development - WYS sponsors
a number of player, coach and referee skills and developmental
clinics. These are held throughout the state and are often presented
by Wyoming’s own soccer coach or parent volunteers.
Scholarship
Program - WYS administers an annual scholarship program
with between 3 and 6 annual scholarships being awarded. The scholarships are for Wyoming
high school seniors or those attending college and
playing soccer at the college level and have played soccer in Wyoming
at the local association level.
TopSoccer - US
Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a
community-based training and team placement program for young athletes
with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers.
Tournaments
- WYS and its
local associations present several tournaments each season.
These events are held at locations
throughout the state and attract players from Wyoming as well as from
surrounding state. Some of the tournaments are targeted to specific age
groups or skill levels or, like the Wyoming State Cup, are high
level, state championship events.
